Noam Hoze
I'm Noam Hoze, founder, CEO, and solo builder of Sfinx. I've spent years shipping real products end-to-end, leading development, and obsessing over signal: what actually predicts performance once someone is inside the team. That obsession came from frustration with how broken hiring still is for engineers. Too much time spent, too much noise, and not enough proof.
Sfinx is an evidence engine for engineering hiring. It transforms a role's requirements into a structured interview that adapts in real time, probes for the exact criteria that matter, and scores answers against a clear rubric. The output isn't a vague "strong candidate" feeling, it's a decision-ready package: highlights, clips, and concrete evidence tied to the job.
I'm building Sfinx to help teams hire faster, hire fairer, and confidently bet on the right engineers based on proof, not vibes.
My Story
Sfinx started as a personal experiment. I noticed how much of engineers' time was spent repeating the same interviews, often with poor outcomes. That sparked my mission: I decided to clone the decision-making of top interviewers and hire against a benchmark based on the team's top performing engineers. The idea was to automate the process, and use AI to help companies find people who truly fit their teams.
I'm currently building this solo, writing the code, designing the system, and training the models. But I'm not doing it alone. I'm supported by brilliant mentors and advisors from the worlds of HR, AI research, and business strategy. We're working together to turn Sfinx into the AI engine that will one day power the entire hiring funnel, from first impression to signed offer.
